Premier Classe Train
If you have to choose between a one hour flight or a 24 hour train ride you would usually pick the frist. But when you hear the rumor that you’d miss out on an experience, a fascinating landscape and a good story – well then you might just choose the second option. And boy did I not regret it: taking the Premier Classe Train from Cape Town to Johannesburg was worth every hour, even the five extra hours delay we had to endure. Cut off from all internet, pampered with super friendly staff, treated to amazing views, those hours flew by (well, if we only had a deck of cards, it would have been even better).
